Hi all,

I am successfully configured SGE cluster on 4 nodes.
Now,I am researching about Job Scheduling in SGE.I want to achieve someHardware Level Scheduling in SGE
Is it possible in SGE to execute heavy jobs at special nodes( quad-core CPU's ). How it works?

What I think that we have to make seperate queues having high and low loads.
Yet I need some confirmation.

Thanks & Regards

how do you define "heavy" job? In SGE you request resources and SGE will choose an appropriate queue instance for your job. It's possible, that you can stay with one queue, just requesting someting special four your job.
